HONEYCOMB GALLERY joined LA WAYAKA CURRENT to bring a group of adventurous artists to Guna Yala. The extremely remote location allowed for the artists to disconnect completely and focus on interacting with their environment and the Guna People. The artists contributed to the community through art presentations , teaching experiences , public murals , and workshops that explored how to locally source and transform sustainable material into useable objects, (in this case costumes for the school pageant.)
